We suspected, heck, anyone could see it was brutally obvious, that CNN was running cover to protect the optics of Bernie Sanders getting a same venue audience last weekend TEN TIMES greater than Hillary Clinton.

Both Clinton and Sanders held events two days apart -last weekend- at the campus of The University of New Hampshire.  Clinton had 300 attendees, Sanders had 3,000.

First thing Monday Morning (6am 9/21/15)  CNN blasts out a poll showing Clinton leading Sanders 42 to 24.

42 to 24?    A gobsmacking spread given the fact that for the past month of polls in New Hampshire Sanders had been crushing Clinton in the polls:

On September 6th Sanders is leading by 11

On September 13th Sanders is leading by 22

On September 20th Sanders has a rally with Ten Times as many supporters.

Then, somehow, mysteriously – CNN pops up on September 21st with a poll showing Hillary Clinton leading Sanders 42 – 24 ?  Seriously?

Well lookie here.  Today another New Hampshire poll and Sanders is CRUSHING Clinton 46 to 30.

BERNIE VS HILLARY SEPT 24TH

(pdf link)  (CNN) Hillary Clinton trails Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders in the race for the Democratic nomination for president in New Hampshire, even if Vice President Joe Biden decides not to make a run for the White House, according to a new CNN/WMUR poll.

Sanders has the backing of nearly half of those who say they plan to vote in the first-in-the-nation Democratic primary next year — 46% support him — while just 30% say they back Clinton. Another 14% say they would support Biden, 2% former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley, 1% former Virginia Sen. Jim Webb, and less than half of 1% back former Rhode Island Gov. Lincoln Chafee or Harvard professor Lawrence Lessig.

Clinton trails Sanders across most demographic groups, with broad gender and ideology divides bolstering Sanders’ run. He holds 56% of male Democratic voters compared with just 20% who back her, while the two are much closer among women, 39% back Sanders, 37% Clinton. Likewise, Sanders holds a 56% to 30% lead among liberals, versus a 37% to 31% race among moderates.  (read more)
