Thank You For Honoring Jessica Lane Chambers

update-1The dark place where Jessica was attacked will soon light up with expressions of YOUR CARING.  Due to overwhelmingly wonderful response, the Lowes Garden Center in Batesville (near Courtland) has been wiped clean of flowers, plants and mini-trees all purchased for Jessica Lane Chambers.
Logistically, in addition to rounding all of those up, Ashley ( @ashleyryna9 ) is working with a local florist (662-563-7658) to make special wreaths and cut flowers bouquets to join with bears, candles and more to present a loving tribute on behalf of people from coast to coast who refuse to allow her name to be forgotten.

If you donated to the effort via the Treehouse you should have received the following response email:

Due to the kindness of people like you Jessica Lane Chambers will be honored beautifully.

Floral arrangements, ribbons, wreaths and other tasteful memorial items are currently being assembled by a wonderful family in the Courtland, Mississippi community.  We think we will have the florist quite busy for a few days as they construct arrangements for Jessica.

Thank you for replacing hate with love; for caring when few are willing; for rising while others look away.   Jessica deserves to be remembered, and she will.

She will be remembered and cherished in no small part because of you.

Thank you, Merry Christmas, and may God continue to bless you and your family,

It is a good thing, it is a right thing, and it is certainly a very decent thing.
How joyous and wonderful is this simple act of kindness.  Thank You.  It will be great to see the pictures when Ashley is finished – and we will share immediately.
Perhaps the media will take notice, and perhaps more attention can be gained toward finding justice for Jessica; but that is a secondary issue, beneficial, yet irrelevant to the intention.
You have stood up and said no to the despair; no to the darkness; and you have chosen to bear witness to what can be done, instead of focusing on what ought to be done.  That, my friends, is what matters.
I am honored, humbled and proud to be of your acquaintance and fellowship.
Always.

(remember to turn up the volume – and sing along)

REJOICE – YOU DESERVE IT !
