Potentially good news.
Despite the fact Hannah Graham’s body has been located – apparently Virginia Law Enforcement are going to continue a search grid around the area of Walnut Creek Park and, more importantly, the surrounding geography where suspect Jesse Matthew grew up and held considerable familiarity.
State and local law enforcement have set up a command center at the recreation facility inside Walnut Creek Park approximately 3 miles (by road) from the location where Hannah Graham’s body was found. Less than a mile as the crow flies.
Here are some updated maps, pictures, and aerial photographs to help orient you to the geography in question. Starting with the location of where Hannah Graham’s body was discovered behind a vacant house at 3193 Old Lynchburg Road, North Garden, VA.
The distance from the location of Hannah Graham’s body to the LEO Command Center is approximately 3 miles. The Command Center is set up inside Walnut Creek Park at the recreation pavillion.

In the overview map below you can see the distance between where Morgan Harrington’s body was found in 2009 and where Hannah Graham was found this week. In addition you can see the general distance to the former residence of suspect Jesse Matthew.
Police maintain secure roadblocks (resident’s only) along Old Lynchburg Road at the Red Hill Rd intersection (North) and the Plank Rd intersection (South). This gives them about a 3.0 mile stretch of road closed with Walnut Creek Park -and command center- close to the center of the cordoned off area.
Also, you can see from the map how close Morgan Harrington’s body was in relation to Hannah Graham (approximately 5 miles).
Three points essentially form a triangle. 1.) The Location of Hannah. 2.) The location of Morgan and 3.) The location of Jesse Morgan’s former residence (Ponderosa Trail).
Obviously law enforcement is looking for any additional evidence which will help them prosecute Jesse Matthew for the murder of Hannah Graham. However, there are numerous other potential victims who might have been brought into the same general area.

As you are aware we have continued to maintain a basic hypothesis that Jesse Matthew would have brought his victims to a place he felt comfortable and knowledgeable of.
He does not possess a disposition which would provide comfort in strange geographic surroundings where his mannerisms would illicit inquisition.
Because he spent so much time in the area of Lynchburg Road, and specifically Walnut Creek Park, it is natural to conclude he would engage his twisted exploits in this area.
Our hunch is there’s more missing girls inside this rural zone of horror.
The question becomes is there a political will to find any additional missing women who would have met their death at the hands of Jesse Matthew? Or, is the reality of what would be exposed by such finding too dangerous for the Virginia authority?
We continue to doubt the willingness of Virginia Law Enforcement, and the politicians who control their activity, to get to the crux of the Jesse Matthew murders. Every death since Morgan Harrington was completely avoidable and only happened because of a reluctance based on “political correctness”.
The Police knew in 2010 they had a serial sexual predator, rapist, abductor and murderer in the Charlottesville area. They knew because they had forensic evidence linking a single suspect to numerous rapes and at least one, possibly two, murders.
Had the suspect been a white male in his 20’s every student would have seen a warning poster and every media outlet would have sounded the alarms. However, a previous controversial serial rape investigation led to considerable backlash. It would be obtuse to ignore the probability the prior events of profiling, which led to lawsuits, did not play factor in considering the approach in 2009 and beyond.
The police knew in 2010 the age, race, and general description of the suspect – yet they did little to capture him. Every death after 2010 did not need to happen. After researching UVA and Charlottesville PD the reasoning becomes brutally obvious.
