Last year March 2nd and 3rd were Friday and Saturday. On Friday night March 2nd the Trayvon Martin Funeral Viewing was held, and on Saturday March 3rd the internment (burial) took place.
There are multiple issues surrounding Witness #8 (DeeDee) and her appearance, or lack thereof, at the funeral services.
In some reports and personal statements by persons related to the family she was there. However, in the official *story* presented by Benjamin Crump on March 20th DeeDee was in the hospital because she was too distraught to attend.
Perhaps, the Ben Crump storyline was meant to deflect the strange issue about girlfriend DeeDee never contacting anyone. This, despite his assertion she was on the phone with Trayvon during the initial moments of the encounter with George Zimmerman.
It never made sense last year when she was “revealed”, that a person so close to him would not immediately reach out to the Police or his family when he was shot. It is just difficult to reconcile that a young woman who knew her boyfriend was just shot and killed would not talk to anyone, call anyone, or inform anyone about it. It still doesn’t.
Even Tracy Martin, Sybrina Fulton, and Benjamin Crump all supported the narrative that they never even knew of this girl he was reportedly on the phone with for 400 minutes on the day he died. None of it made sense then, and still does not today.
