Oh how the hypocrisy of the left is always within sight. It’s never racism when the left does it…
(Via Mediaite) A pro-Democratic group has drawn sharp criticisms after it attacked Sen. Mitch McConnell’s (R-KY) Asian wife, former Secretary of Labor Elaine Chao. The super PAC Progress Kentucky has demonstrated in front of McConnell’s home and offices, but raised the most ire from critics after tweeting that Chao “has the ear of [Sen. McConnell]” which could “explain why your job moved to China!” Kentucky’s WFPL recaps the incident. (read more)
Mrs. McConnell is not Chinese – she is of Taiwanese descent. But regardless, the fact that a Democrat Super-PAC would attack an opponent just because his wife is of Asian origin is reflective of the true ideology of the hate-filled progressive left. RACIST-By-Any-Means-Neccessary.
And when called out on the obvious racism intended - what do they do? Why, double down on the hate, that’s what:
[P]rogress Kentucky just released a second statement standing by its tweet and denying that it was racist in nature: “Senator Mitch McConnell has a conflict of interest that many are afraid to talk about, and Progress Kentucky is not,” the group said. (link)
They feel so empowered now, they are not even trying to hide it.
Jerks. Who cares if his wife is Asian?
The Congressional Black Caucus? Maybe they are worried she’ll follow them around as they roam that halls of Congress. (too obscure a reference?)
Asian are a special group, there numbers are cited for funding purposes, things of that nature. When it comes to achievement, scholastic, financial, etc they are either ignored or lumped with whites.
Asians are a constant reminder that minorities can achieve and succeed without government interference, not something they want to be reminded of.
