Much of the conversation in our United States is about banning AR-15 type rifles from citizens.   The left wants to ban guns, the right wants to retain their constitutionally protected 2nd amendment right.

However, one only needs to look across the pond to see what is left for defense after a decade of bans on firearms.   This is not a spoof, this is an actual article from the Daily Mail about removing dangerous kitchen instruments in their “campaign aiming to end knife crime”.   The citations and quotes with the pictures are, well, priceless:
