(Via WeaselZippers) Republican NY State Assemblyman Steve McLaughlin released the above video showing an attempt by his Democratic opponents in the Assembly to keep a list of their gun control proposals secret, once they had decided on the bill passed in NY this past week.
The list shows how far they are willing to go, even onto confiscation of some guns, as well as continuing the demonization of legitimate law-abiding gun owners.

Here it is. This is the video where I was asked to keep the Democrat proposals for the NY SAFE Act away from the public. This list was given to me by a colleague and it is not confidential.
This bill was an attack on the 2nd amendment and the Democrats clearly wanted to dismantle the work of the Founding Fathers. None of these amendments were included in the final bill thanks to us fighting back. I will not stand silent while these unpatriotic proposals are pathetically thrown at us a 11 o’clock at night:
1. Confiscation of “assault weapons”
2. Confiscation of ten round clips
3. Statewide database for ALL Guns
4. Continue to allow pistol permit holder’s information to be replaced to the public
5. Label semiautomatic shotguns with more than 5 rounds or pistol grips as “assault weapons”
6. Limit the number of rounds in a magazine to 5 and confiscation and forfeiture of banned magazines
7. Limit possession to no more than two (2) magazines
8. Limit purchase of guns to one gun per person per month
9. Require re-licensing of all pistol permit owners
10. Require renewal of all pistol permits every five years
11. State issued pistol permits
12. Micro-stamping of all guns in New York State
13. Require licensing of all gun ammo dealers
14. Mandatory locking of guns at home
15. Fee for licensing, registering weapons

Stupid progs. Have they never seen anybody fire a pump action shotgun?
Again I ask, will these requirements be imposed on the criminal elements in New York who operate with the tacit support of so many ‘public servants’ whose pockets they regularly line? I.m sure the Brighton Beach and Dominican guys get those neat fully-auto weapons at gun shows.
Every state or federal law written needs to have an exclusion written right into it, “This measure is not applicable to criminals.”
These requirements will not work on criminals. It’s easier to get these guns on the street anyway.
You wrongly assume that disarming criminals is actually the goal of the legislation, it isn’t, moving the Overton Window is.
Thank you for pointing this out. I am sharing far and near. Let us never forget what their end goal is, they believe they need a Revolution to effect the fundamental transformation that they want to see. A Bolshevik Revolution of sorts in which they believe they can reshape this nation without the shackles and limits of even what is left of the shreds of the Constitution. Sadly, these Progs, in their indoctrination, failed to study anything in history before Marxism……..like say, the American Revolution. They are forgetting that 3% forged this Nation and secured liberty, and 3% will do it again. This graphic succinctly summarizes what happens from here:
