Piers Morgan VS. Ben Shapiro

Piers Morgan had Ben Shapiro on his show to talk Bullies and Guns. It did not take long for Piers to showcase himself as a bully, proving Ben’s point, and pontificating his normal nonsense.

But Ben Shapiro did an exceptional job pointing out the hypocrisy of the pontificating prog.

Excellent job by Ben Shapiro.

    I loved Pier’s final words:
“People aren’t stupid, they can make up their own mind”.
The arrogance of him continually implying that if you do not agree with him then you must be stupid. He is correct that millions upon millions of people are not stupid and totally disagree with him is what he is missing.

  2. jordan2222 says:

What is absurd is that people like Piers ignore history and refuse to believe that tyranny could EVER arrive here while some of us see it knocking on our doorstep now.

  3. lovemygirl says:

What are “valid” reasons to own a AR 15?
    1) None of your business, I don’t need to justify my choices to you.
    2) Tyranny
    3) Multiple attackers
    4) Ranchers far afield with packs of dangerous hogs or smugglers crossing their path
    5) Because it pisses you off
Any others I can add for the next time I hear that idiotic question?

    • lovemygirl says:

      6) Very configurable for multiple purposes, eliminates the need for multiple guns.

    • Sharon says:

      7. Because I want to.

      • brutalhonesty says:

        8) the second amendment says I can
        9) katrina proves we need them to protect our home when a natural disaster breaks down the local government
        10) riot protection when george zimmerman is set free
        11) rodent control….suckers are fast and sometimes I miss

        • Coast says:

And what happens when a single person goes off with a gun…a big SWAT team shows up. Each SWAT member probably has two (or more) thirty round clips. Ten swat members X sixty is 600 rounds…probably more. So…when “we” need to fight these types of forces we only need say less than ten rounds? That’s the logic…no, the logic is that we need what we need, and the second amendment says that. I don’t ever here this argument.

        • LoudaJew says:

I really like 1,8,9, and 10. I’ve seen some crazy stuff when Hurricane Andrew hit in ’92. #10 will be a reality, unless MOM exposes Mr. Martin’s school records.

12.) Because why the hell not?! :)

    • sundance says:

Why does your vehicle have a speedometer that exceeds 75 mph? (or the legal limit)

      • brutalhonesty says:

the better question is why did my 85 sunbirds needle stop at 85mph yet the car could do 100mph, and why do all these stupid hondas have 140-160mph speedometers when the car is governed at 110mph and even if you cut the speed sensor wire the car is horsepower limited to 120mph downhill?

        • brutalhonesty says:

sorry, drag limited not hp limited. drag limit is the point at which the wind resistance on the car can not be overcome by the hp output of the engine….

      • brutalhonesty says:

the answer to sundance is: because cars are sold elsewhere.
for example europe. specifically germany. i know you know whats there.

    • Alpha5 says:

Y all the anger. I happen to be a gun owner, who doesn’t believe that the govt is going to take my gun. I don’t believe all the propaganda that the NRA and the right wing neo-cons put out there to placate the masses. Can anyone say manipulated? Y is it that, the right wing has all the answers. Thank god almighty that we live in a Democracy and that Obama won the election.

  5. BertDilbert says:

What is obvious or should be to anyone that a killer not having access to an assault rifle is just going to choose another weapon. So if you ban assault weapons then the next weapon of choice may become a shotgun. Then the next attack is on shotguns, then glock’s etc. When we run out of guns to ban, then we move onto knives and finally you will not be able to own a pencil. .

    • Sharon says:

….so you think you NEED to own a pencil, BertDilbert???? HMMMM?????? You will be watched now.

      • BertDilbert says:

I have been stabbed by a pencil. I made the mistake of banking in the game of Monopoly. When they could not pay back the loans, I was attacked by a pencil and it broke off in my forearm. This is probably why the bankers who own government, do not want you to have guns. After they take your pencils, they will go for your forearms next. Soon you will just be left with a torso with a head bobbing about.

    • cajunkelly says:

A shotgun *was* used, yesterday, at a school in California. Evidently it was a cass wherein the bullied got enough of the bully. Bully critical but stable.

Of course the lefty media was harping on the fact that he had twenty more shotgun shells in his pockets.

and CNN gives this moronic bully a platform,
Piers i need my Ar-15 for Zombies, would have been my answer :)

  10. lovemygirl says:

Oh My! I was trying to figure out why Feinstein had a hang-up about pistol grips and why she thinks they are evil. Someone pointed me to this clown who worked with her on the first ban.

“It’s really their killing potential,” Alison Merrilees, legal counsel for the Firearms Division of the attorney general’s office, said in explaining why assault weapons were banned. “The pistol grip allows them to be sprayed randomly. You can kill lots of people without having to reload.”

Wow, the ignorance of the banners is amazing. Personally, I’d much rather have someone shooting from the hip “spraying” bullets than someone who took careful aim and lined me up in their sights shooting at me.

  11. waltherppk says:

At least 14 school shooting sprees have something in common and that is a shooter who is taking prescription drugs for the treatment of depression which can have a side effect of actually causing psychosis…a complete conscious personality disconnect from reality…meaning that the person suffering a bizarre drug side effect is not even rationally consciously aware of what they are doing and if they survive may not ever recall what happened…..they can be like a berserk robot with a malfunctioning computer for a brain. Gun control is a red herring being used to divert and misdirect liability away from the pharmaceutical manufacturers and physicians who are manufacturing psychopathic killers. So it isn’t the gun owners who are culpable or accountable. Gun control won’t fix the problem because the actual problem is being misidentified.

  12. brutalhonesty says:

piers fails as usual. he proves his own point invalid with the sudaphed. i live in missouri, the METH CAPITAL of the county. but but but the sudaphed is behind the counter and you cant buy more than 2 at once….how can this be? oh, because the black market will always exist, and criminals skirt the laws. the makers pay people money to go buy the sudaphed for them. get 10 people to buy 2 boxes each, boom, he can make a batch.
the only close solution is to ban the drug from all sales, or to make it prescription. the left are the ones paying for all the ads that run against those bans….”we need it for asthma”….”i shouldnt have to go to the dr when I have a cold” and other fallacious arguments. they even go as far as to minimize the importance of the active ingredient ephedrine in making meth, by saying “because it has one of the ingredients they make meth with”…as opposed to saying “it has the one ingredient you need or else it will never be meth”.

Piers also does the usual liberal tactic of getting loud and talking over the opponent. he doesnt want to allow ben to rationalize and prove the fact that governments have, can, will, and do, go awry….so that he can isolate and marginalize…..hence he called him an “idiot” and wouldnt let him finish. anyone who thinks this country was founded on the overthrow of british tyranny is “an idiot”, says the left. anyone who thinks governments were just overthrown in the middle east with the help of obama, is an “idiot, says the left. it must be true, they said so.

    Oh. and go ahead,
Ban 30 round clips, i can still make one. spring and sheetmetal. its not hard.
and last I checked gunsmithing is still a trade, a skill, something one can do in their garage if need be…..and last I checked prohibition has never worked hence the 21st amendment.

one final thought, I feel sorry for the kids who are going to suffer worse deaths since the next nut wont be able to use a gun and will resort to gas and matches…or using a car to mow them down at recess…there was violence before guns, there will be violence after guns.

    • brutalhonesty says:

one final thought for the night for real this time,
piers wants so hard to avoid right left…even though thats the fact of it….its irrefutable those are the two ideologies at play on this issue, and many other issues.

also, the fact the 2nd amendment is being attacked so hard kinda proves the tyrannical government theory is closer than ben admits. if the 2nd is gone, what protects the rest? how long will the first last? we already have free speech zones in liberal cities.
how about 5th, 6th, 8th, 9th, 14th amendments? they have no problem violating george zimmermans above stated rights, with the help of the obama administration and eric holder.

oh and of course that letter had 3 potus on it…carter was a dem…yet piers plays it off as if it was all ray gun.

      • howie says:

They may be after more than that. A two pronged offensive. The 1st and Second. The second through guns the first through movies. It is a double edged sword the wield. A little something for both sides to swallow. Just so each side can roll over in unison for a media belly rub.

      • WeeWeed says:

Without the 2nd, they’re ALL gone.

    • michellc says:

I live in Oklahoma where meth has only grown worse since the stupid idiotic cold/sinus medicine put behind the counter and limit to how much you can buy.
So that is one thing I can agree with the left about, it was stupid and it did nothing to curb meth.
You can’t stop a person who is willing to shoot drain-o into their veins. Just like you can’t ban guns and change people who want to murder.
I’m all for looking at medication as a symptom of some of these murders. The honest truth though is there have always been evil people, there will always be evil people who want to murder, so you have to figure out how to protect people and when it comes to our school children the obvious solution to anyone with one working brain cell is to have armed guards protecting them. Get rid of gun free zones.
Yes, it sucks that our country has came to that, but I also remember when we didn’t need locks on our doors.

      • GracieD says:

I remember the no locks on the door days too, Michelle. It has only been in the last 10-12 years that we have locked our doors. My in-laws thought it was horrible that we should have to lock our doors just because “some folks have no manners”. To be honest, most of the Cajuns that I know keep a firearm handy at all times. It used to be in case swamp critters made their way onto the porch or into the house. ;)

  13. howie says:

Is Pravda, or the american media more trustworthy? I vote Pravda.

  14. Antony G says:

Another conservative who failed to win the argument. When Morgan started to list all of the mass-murder incidents and what weapons were used, Shapiro should have immediately turned it around right back on Morgan and asked him to start listing all of the hand-gun murder incidents and forced him to explain why he was so interested in focusing on the 0.1% of gun murders that featured an assault weapon. He could have destroyed Morgan argument right there and clearly pointed out to the audience that Morgan was clearly only focused on all of mass-murder incidents just because it was the best way to promote his extreme leftist agenda.

  15. JAS says:

Shapiro fell for the classic “need” question, the standard tactic of disarmament folk. The right answer is: “Ah, the progressive’s main argument; the need question… This is not about my needs, this is about my rights. It is my natural and inalienable right to own an AR15 If I so choose. Our forefathers, unlike yours, answered that question for me and wrote it into law.”

He forgot yo yell out “YOU’LL NEVER GET MY GUNS YOU LIMEY BASTARD!!!!!”. Actually was nice to see a sane person talk to him and expose him as an issue avoider. I totally agree with everything he said.

Btw…..Mr. Shapiro (LOVE HIM) was a recent guest on the Mark Levin show.
Outstanding interview and highly recommend….. podcast available

  19. jwoop66 says:

I think he did a great job, but here is what I would have like to hear:
Morgan: do you think your govt might turn tyranical?
    Shapiro: Yes
    Morgan: Really?!!
    Shapiro: Yes

The difference? No heming and hawing and saying, “maybe not now, maybe not in my children’s lifetimes…”

Just a flat out ,Yes, the govt could become tyranical, and we americans maintain the right to be able to fight against that tyranny.

Whatcha got to say now Piers??

A 15-year old boy used his father’s AR-15 to defend himself and his 12-year old sister against two burglars at their home just north of Houston, Texas.

  22. anwtex says:

eeegads! Now I blew it on the smiley!!
    That should do it.

  23. howie says:

Now. Wait a minute. As off as he is. Where else in the media has these points of view allowed to be contested.? One on one. Just a thought. I have not seen it on the rest. I hate the fair and balanced crapola.

  24. Peter says:

Excellent job Mr. Ben Shapiro! Just like to add that reason why this country never had a tyrannical government up to this time is because of “THE 2nd AMENDMENT”… period.

  25. Peter says:

I wish the sheriffs in California are like Sheriff Rico Giron:

  26. ctdar says:

Shapiro outsmarts Morgan again when he attempts to engage him for 2nd interview
