More than twice as many Hamas rockets have hit ‘Palestinians’as have hit urban areas in Israel according to the Prime Minister’s office.
Sixty out of the 703 rockets Hamas fired during the four days of Operation Pillar of Defense fell inside the Gaza Strip on Palestinian civilians, PMO Spokesman said on Twitter on Saturday.
Only 27 of the rockets fell on urban areas in Israel. (article)

This Reuters picture was entitled “Rocks and Rockets”

Yeah, and I guess we’re supposed to assume the dude with the sling shot is some poor setupon resident of Gaza?
Of course Reuters gave no explanation.
However, considering the title of this thread, that poor hapless Gaza muzzie just might be tryin to fling a rock at one of their own rockets. (smirk)
This is a clown car driven by the gang who couldn’t shoot straight. These people are in ept for a lot of reasons. The Israelis are smarter than 3 average bears. Their strength is that they don’t give a shiite about world opinion.go Bibi.
You silly person, that’s David. He saw a giant and was trying to take him out.
(chuckle) Yeah, I thought of that too, and thought surely Reuters wouldn’t try to set up a picture depicting a Biblical reference….surely not!
Their technology? Their training? Can’t be lack of practice.
In Iraq, SM used to call them “hobby rocket enthusiasts”.
Launch enough of them, eventually you’ll get lucky.
But expertise, not so much.
That’s what I keep thinking about our own domestic enemies–lots of attitude, lots of a threat, lots of raw armament but not much expertise.
I like that
Somehow, their lack of expertise resulting in domestic collateral damage will be the IDF’s fault.
As my Islamic friends would say: “Insha’Allah”! As my Jewish friends would say: “Too Few!”. There are many reasons they can’t hit reliable, some of them revolve around the smarter guys not getting anywhere near a launcher with Israeli drones in the air, and many of them revolve around the lack of in-depth training the crews receive. If they were more keen on making strategic, or even tactical, hits they have a A-team out there with all of the surveying needed to ensure a more accurate impact. This is Iran pushing the buttons and it’s fine if a few Palestinians are killed – martyrs to the cause and, anyway, they don’t vote in Iran. These attacks are to goad Israel and, if they zap a few ‘golden’ targets along the way, Insha’Allah.
I’d love it if Israel got into a few Hamas storage depots and jiggered the rockets so they blew up on or just after leaving the launchers. I’ll be t that would do wonders for the confidence levels of prospective crews…
Especially if built by “Karma Manufacturing”……
Then again there’s always: And the house of Jacob shall be a fire, and the house of Joseph a flame, and the house of Esau for stubble, and they shall kindle in them, and devour them; and there shall not be any remaining of the house of Esau; for the LORD hath spoken it. (Obadiah 1:18).
There’s always that….
Unless the revisionists have redefined it I do believe that the Arabic peoples descended from the house of Esau – shouldn’t there be more fire and destruction or is this all yet another unheeded warning? Job has patience – I have a burning desire for – well – fire and destruction. I’ll do an act of penance later…
I love that quote. It would make a great bumper sticker I put them on with magnets so I can switch them around and not mess up my car
If I had the time I would take Bible study class. Just need to crack open a Bible and start reading The Old Testament.
Let’s hope Iran has the same luck with their nuclear arms program. Maybe they could store all the vats of Uranium Nitrate in a small enclosed area.
CNN is over there whining about civilian casualties. How do you tell a civilian terrorist?
Ah yes, CNN. I don’t suppose that CNN showed any pictures of Hamas launch vehicles and storage sites parked right next to or directly on top of civilian facilities designed to create causalities when they were attacked in self defense (rhetoric and sarcastic all in one)? I don’t suppose CNN showed pictures of Israeli civilian casualties caused by murderers representing the Religion of Peace caused by weapons fired strictly to cause massive civilian casualties? No wonder their rating are in the dumps.
You need to find somebody who just shot themselves in the foot
I heard yesterday that Hamas almost got a rocket hit on the Dome of the Rock shrine. LOL.
Hamas wants civilian casualties. They deliberately put rocket launchers and arms/ammo dumps in homes, schools, playgrounds and hospitals in hopes of getting bad publicity for Israel in the event of a missile hit. I say Go Israel! Remove all the Hamas weapons you can. It won’t stop them, but they will have to declare a cease fire and take the time to stock up again.

Don’t assume it means anything, but an AP reporter decides to not shut up. Little late.
Ouch! There go his chances for a anchor spot on 60 Minutes.
I just saw Oliver North say Obama is blackmailing Israel for the terrorists. With plane parts for their fighters.
I saw that, too. Did you catch the title of book that North apparently has just had published..?
No but if Obama is blackmailing Israel they might have to go Nuke. While they still can. This dope is gonna get us all killed if he keeps it up.
Yes, he is.
Did anyone else catch the irony of Ollie calling the kettle black (no pun intended)?

Does anybody know how many casualties in Gaza are due to Hamas’s own rockets? It would be very interesting to know.
