“They had personally raped, cut off ears, cut off heads, taped wires from portable telephones to human genitals and turned up the power, cut off limbs, blown up bodies, randomly shot at civilians, razed villages in fashion reminiscent of Ghengis Khan, shot cattle and dogs for fun, poisoned food stocks, and generally ravaged the countryside of South Vietnam.” – John Kerry

The Real George Zimmerman
The Bard of Murdock

NOOOOOOO1 He’s a traitor.
Who was the draft dodger that wrote the book Kerry read and testified to those attrocities? He was in CA and never served and made them up and Kerry repeated them.
Canada not California
ps I refer to him as Lurch.
Oh why the hell not. And Hanoi Jane can take the Hildebeest’s current position. El Perfecto, and then we’ll KNOW every Benghazi situation will end up the way that Benghazi DID end up.
Replace the National Anthem with Jimi’s version
It is already banned at High School Hockey games in Pennsylvania I expect it will be banned world wide in two years and replaced with “you can’t touch this” or “Don’t worry be happy” seriously the democrats have already said they hated the anthem and wanted to change it.
It will be a complete non-stop clown show until Resolution 308 is passed.
Lets see, Janet Napolitano as Attorney General, Susan Rice as Secretary of State and John Kerry as Secretary of Defense. Wow, three stooges, what more could we want in such key positions. I still think Powell is on the picture.
Just so does not pass the smell test. Not even on the BHO level does it pass and that is very telling in itself.
Really! No really? smh!
Yeah Teresa is all we need back again in our lives

Well it would be a just a beautiful piece of irony.
I trend a bit right of Ghengis Khan when it comes to National Defense.
Ya’s spelt it wrong. Thass “Jinnjiss.”
It would really be great to have a big old treason party. Anyone that has ever done anything against the U.S.A would be put on trial. Those convicted would be hung. I would like to be on the jury or at least a witness to the hangings. Talk about fun!Hollywood types, news people, late night talk show hosts, politicians, activists, people that like Al Gore etc.
In aftermath of the Vietnam war our soldiers came home; some in coffins, some horribly disabled or psychologically damaged, and many facing the unknown impact of what Agent Orange would reap upon their long term health, as their war weary minds and bodies waged yet another battle against a government in denial about its toxic effects. Yet, they persevered.
These soldiers had been treated differently. For them there were no care packages from organizations back home to give them solace while they served in the jungles of Vietnam as the monsoons served up by mother nature or man made chemicals poured down upon them. Flag waving crowds celebrating their homecoming as they arrived at the airport did not greet them. Media did not rush to arrange special televised reunions as they returned home on leave to a waiting spouse and children. The newspapers of the times heralded them not as heroes, to be honored for carrying out their assigned duty in support of their oath to defend our country and uphold our Constitution, but merely as a ticker tape of the body count to be used for political fodder.
The families of these brave souls were their only support network. I remember sending packages every week to my brother as he served multiple tours of duty in Vietnam as a Marine. My dad, A veteran of WWII, always made sure we packed lots of thick, white, cotton socks in those packages. He said, “a soldier has to depend on his feet and you can’t do that if your feet are wet or cold all the time, you never can have too many socks”. (My brother was always so grateful for those socks as they helped to stave off the dreaded effects of jungle rot.) We would tape record messages and put pictures of us and extra batteries in for his tape player, always trying to send him a piece of home, a little piece of hope to brighten those dark days of battle. Each box carefully wrapped in plain brown paper, hand labeled and sealed with a hope and a prayer that he would receive it…alive and well. We had no cell phones, Skype or specially funded free phone banks or televised messages for them to communicate with their families and loved ones, not even for the holidays. We just waited and silently prayed for a quick little note to make its way out of the combat zone and home to us.
When our soldiers did come home, there was no Wounded Warriors Association or Fisher House to help them deal with their physical or emotional problems. No one thanked them for their service and sacrifice. No parades or celebrations were held in their honor. Instead they were demonized; victims for being pawns in a political war that our government never committed to win. A cloud of moral disdain followed them like a shadow on a partly sunny day. More generosity was shown toward the very people they had laid down their lives for. Jane Fonda and other celebrities sullied our troops and embraced the enemy. The nation heaped upon their already fragile, war torn psyche viscous accusations such as those cited by John Kerry; basically accusing all Vietnam Veterans of horrible atrocities without exception.
This will forever remain a black mark on American history. No soldier since then has been treated in such a disgraceful manner, as have our Vietnam Veterans. We still owe them a huge debt of gratitude for simply serving our country and honoring the oath they took.
To appoint John Kerry, Secretary of Defense would be reprehensible. Any person that could propagate such a vile message about so many who served so valiantly and gave so much does not deserve the honor of that position nor the respect of our military. Then he further insulted our military personnel when he made the comment that …if you have a good High School Education you go on to college and if you don ‘t then you end up in Afghanistan. Somehow he equates serving our country on parr with a lower IQ or economic status. Reinforcing once more his low regard for our military personnel. No, John Kerry should not be approved by Congress if Obama does appoint him…he is a disgrace.
Powerful and heart felt message. God bless you entire family.
Thank you for sharing this word picture. My nephew died from cancer some years back now, in his 50s, as a result of exposure to agent orange. His sons served in Iraq, and it was the greatest discouragement of his last years that because he had terminal cancer, he was not allowed to ship out with them to Iraq, even though he still held his rank via the National Guard after release from active duty. He literally argued to be able to go with the thought that he wasn’t going to live long anyway, and he wanted to desperately to be with them. At that point, he was still on his feet and he could still have served limited duty. Obviously, he couldn’t go–and he knew that…but his heart and his instinct was “let me go!”
Your nephew sounds so typical of the patriotic men who served in Vietnam. Many of them died young or suffer terrible illnesses because of Agent Orange. I am so sorry for your loss and the loss his sons and family have suffered as well. God love them and God bless all our troops.

I recall after john Kerry’s winter soldier life for the men in the military went from bad to outright hatred by our fellow Americans.
After Kerry veterans became targets for everyone’s revenge.
Pelosi is going for another term.
