Something several weeks ago snagged my interest when I was reading an article about Olympic security being provided by a private company called G4S. Over the past decade London has become the PC capitol of all things Islam. It really is quite over-the-top.
Aptly nicknamed “Londonistan” by those who have watched the British Police being cursed at, spit upon, and forced to tolerate the most horrific physical and verbal assaults by entities of Muslim persuasion, who exhibit the most horrid of violent radical islamic tendencies. Several recent examples have been cited over the year.
So the concern that struck a nerve for me was given the backdrop of politically correct fear would radical elements of Islam be able to infiltrate the security apparatus around the Olympic venue(s). And, if so, is it worrisome that a Fort Hood style coordinated extremist attack would be possible.
Recently I read more articles about how short staffed the security contingents were and how they are being supported with 4,500 regular uniformed British Military soldiers. Given the comments by Mitt Romney to this regard it seemed as if my concern was more than a little over worried paranoia on my part. But still, probably nothing.
However, it is indeed a fact that London is infected with the Cultural Marxism of political correctness. So a modicum of concern is not out-of-bounds given the shere magnitude of the security task being handled. When I read this today, my spidey senses picked up a bit too, and I wonder if…..
LONDON OLYMPICS - An Olympic guard faces the sack for spitting at an Army hero drafted in to boost security — and yelling: “Baby killer.” The Asian G4S worker flipped as he patrolled an archery contest at Lord’s cricket ground with the Afghan veteran.
A source said: “This security guard was ranting and raving at the soldier. “He was trying to defuse the situation but the guard was going crazy. He spat at the soldier and screamed at him. He was calling him a baby killer.
“He left the soldier in no doubt he meant he’d been responsible for children’s deaths while serving in Afghanistan.
“Despite the provocation, the soldier remained ice cool and didn’t lose his calm.
“Some of their respective colleagues arrived and the guard was removed.”
Bosses at security company G4S — which had to be bailed out by troops after failing to supply enough guards for London 2012 — yesterday said an urgent investigation was under way. The firm said the soldier from 35 Engineers had at some point asked to search the guard. It did not reveal why. The incident occurred behind the scenes on Saturday evening as spectators watched Italy beat the United States to win Olympic gold.
Scotland Yard said no criminal allegations had been made. Ex-Helmand commander Colonel Richard Kemp said: “This is an absolute disgrace.
“A soldier shouldn’t have to put up with this terrible insult. If there’s any possibility of a prosecution, then it should go ahead.”
G4S are understood to be waiting to see if the soldier makes a complaint. The MoD yesterday confirmed an incident had occurred. The military plugged the gap left by G4S with 4,700 troops. (read more)

I think it was in Norway where the media, is so afraid to be charged with hate speech against Islam, that when they report gangrapes of native women by Muslim immigrants, they say “Asians” instead.

Great article. Sandra and I have two close friends from London and they have told us story’s of the same nature. This is what I fear we will have here, worse than the little of it we have now. Full blown tearing down of our once Christian home-land, but rather a place run by ass-lifting cave people.

I am sure everyone has seen this famous movie: FITNA produced by Geert Wilders, who was prosecuted by his own government for making this movie. There’s nothing racist or hateful in it, from what I could see. I am not sure how they are interpreting this.

I thought this was interesting. Today, Twitter removed a guy’s account after he posted an email address for an NBC executive. Most people really think that he was removed because he is a journalist in England and he was very critical of NBC’s coverage of the Olympics.

Now, contrast what he did with the threats that people post constantly on Twitter about George Zimmerman, and with the celebrities who posted street addresses (sometimes incorrectly) of Zimmerman’s family and friends. Yet I have heard nothing about any of those people having their accounts suspended or removed.
My son was telling me about some twitter argument over football and one person tweeting phone #’s and addresses and the person being reported yet twitter did nothing.
Seems like this was nothing more than NBC and twitter trying to silence their critics.

We watched, a few years back, the Brits watching homegrown Muslims, Brit citizens, who’d gone off to terrorist training camps. Ya’ll forget that when the US invaded Afghanistan we picked up numerous Western Muslim fighters there? Some were Aussies and some were Brits and one US citizen from the Left Coast. There was a story in the Brit press, prior to the PC censorship, of instances where Muslims burned down a church building a children’s choir was practicing in because their singing interfered with Muslim services. There was another where some Muslims PO’d about something broke into a village church and hung the church warder’s dog over the alter. There were stories of Muslim youth carrying shards of glass and attacking people on the streets of Brit cities. There were stories about the housing projects the Brits were building to house the multitudes of illegal immigrants flooding into England through the Chunnel. They had to be housed, fed, given access to medical care, their children educated (sound familiar) while their individual pleas to be allowed to stay put on the public dole were adjudicated.

Young girls in the UK endure genital mutilation during their summer vacations. I am very surprised that this is not happening in the US. Is it that freedom of religion is preventing us from looking into these things? I’ve been told that a few Islamic groups do this, not all. But with US being such an immigrant country, seems odd that this is not a problem here:

Last trip to the UK my wife booked the hotels, looking for “cheaper” but still close to London, and we ended up with the Islamic Resource center across the street with hotel used by many visitors. We didn’t notice anything special, restaurants followed dietary restrictions in some cases or parts of the menu, and a number of women wore a Burka. What seemed common were marriages of English women to Islamic men, which seemed odd to me. I am happy to let the UK lead the way and just watch how it works out for them over the next generation or so.
Its hard to pick up things, deeply embedded things on a tourist visit. But UK is not very far behind what is happening in countries like Sweden and Norway.
The Europe as we know it is soon coming to an end in our lifetime if people don’t wake up. I am glad that you did this thread. I hope people look at some of these things and raise the alarm. Whenever I’ve tried to talk about this, people say oh, its not gonna happen in America, because in America, we respect freedom of religion so they are not retaliating and pushing on us so much.
Islam has had one agenda throughout the centuries, and that is to take over and rule.
When they say peace, they really mean they rule and make restrictions. They tax the non muslims beyond belief and drive them to poverty. I’m talking taxes for things like going to church. Parking in front of your church could cost $100 an hour. Ludicrous rules like that have existed for the “dhimmis” of any Islamic theocracy.

I am actually hoping for a massive terrorist attack in London. It would be a classic example of evolution in action. It might even be educational to the PC populace and inspire them to start cracking down on their Muslim minority before they become the majority.

Right on cue Romney was attacked by the Obama Press for being correct about the London Games.
Romney is being attacked by the progs because they claim his entire foreign trip has been a disaster. They prefer to see the O’s skinny azz in the air bowing to foreign dictators.
I was listening to the prog press screaming questions at Romney such as “what do you have to say to the palestinians” and “what do you have to say about your gaffes.” They were doing that in Poland when Romney visited the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, which is a very sombre site. You could hear a guy with a polish accent in the background asking them to please have some respect, and to please be quiet. They ignored him and kept screaming.
Any major terrorist attack in the West would only solidify the truth about Islam.
Terrorists won’t interrupt a government when it’s destroying itself.
The destruction is now in the hands of Moslems within each country.
