Rules? We Don’t Need No Stinkin’ Rules….. F*ck The Constitution – F*ck Congress – F*ck Separation Of Powers.. It’s ME The People!

There are literally hundreds of possible examples of the actions being advanced upon our nation by the entrenched ideology of liberalism.

Meanwhile moderates call for a pragmatic approach toward finding common ground.

While pragmatism is indeed a noble intellectual pathway for concession, it would currently appear politically equivalent to dimmitude….. – Sundance

The Power is ALL MINE Suckas !!!

(The Washington Times) — Federal immigration authorities have begun granting tentative legal status to illegal immigrants under President Obama’s deportation halt — and in some cases are even ignoring the administration’s eligibility rules to stop deportations for those who shouldn’t qualify, according to the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee.

Rep. Lamar Smith, Texas Republican, said he’s learned some illegal immigrants who have been in the U.S. less than five years have had their deportations canceled, even though Mr. Obama and Homeland Security Secretary Janet A. Napolitano had listed the five-year mark as one of their criteria.

Mr. Smith also obtained documents laying out how U.S. Customs and Immigration Enforcement (ICE) officers should actively search for illegal immigrants who are “apparently eligible” to have their cases dropped. Those illegal immigrants then would be granted tentative status.

“President Obama is granting amnesty to illegal immigrants behind Americans’ backs,” Mr. Smith said. “Although administration officials told congressional offices that it would take 60 days to implement the president’s amnesty plan, internal ICE documents show that illegal immigrants have already benefited from it, even though there are no standards in place.” (read more)

From the link within the article:

Rep. Lamar Smith, Texas Republican, said he’s learned some illegal immigrants who have been in the U.S. less than five years have had their deportations canceled, even though Mr. Obama and Homeland Security Secretary Janet A. Napolitano had listed the five-year mark as one of their criteria.

So. Mr. Rep. Lamar Smith, Texas Republican, you have stated the obvious. You have stated that Teh Won did what he said he would do. What is your point?

You are the one who was elected to hold the authority to see to it that the checks and balances of our “government” actually checked and balanced.

Now that you have stated the obvious, what are you going to do about it?

    • IN HIS EPIC 1960s poem The Incredible Bread Machine, R. W. Grant described an entrepreneur named Tom Smith who ran afoul of jealous competitors and a power-seeking Justice Department. When Smith appears before the judge, he asks plaintively why he has been singled out. The judge looks down on him and intones:

“In complex times the Rule of Law has proved itself deficient. We much prefer the Rule of Men, it’s vastly more efficient.”

    • zane says:

Why are you angry with Lamar Smith? Did he not reveal documents that shows, once again, how out of control Barack Hussein Obama, Jr. is?

Instead of slamming Rep. Smith (who is a good, solid conservative) you need to thank the Texas Republican Delegation that consistantly supports conservative and TEA Party goals; Jeb Hensarling; Louie Gohmert, Ted Poe (who fought like a rabid dog for Compean and Ramos), Mike McCaul (who spent his own money to produce a lengthy film on the disaster that is our border), Francisco Canseco, Bill Flores, Sam Johnson (who spent two more years at the Hanoi Hilton than John McCain did) and others, who constantly vote to protect our Constitution and our independence.

We Texans have sent consistantly conservative representatives to D.C. How about some help from the other states?

      • Sharon says:

I am tired of Congressmen making announcements about things that are perfectly obvious, should have been expected and–in this case–what obama himself clearly announced he was going to do. They make announcements. They gather stuff. They have press conferences. They say, “Ah ha!” But they don’t take action to stop him. I am frustrated with the apparent expectation that because they make announcements and connect dots that we are apparently supposed to equate that with effective action. Information does not equal action. Fast and Furious. Recess Appointments That Are Not Recess Appointments. Czars That Are Not Confirmed Or Reviewed. No Budget Going On Four Years Now. The list is pretty nearly endless…

I’m not angry with Lamar Smith. I am frustrated with his announcement and I still would like to know what his point is. What is HIS point? Is action going to be taken this week to stop President Obama from violating the immigration laws of the United States of America? Is action going to be taken? If not, what IS his point?

There’s a massive pattern on both sides of aisles of massive amounts of information with very little effective governance. It annoys me.

ADD: I LOVE Louis Gohmert! Texas has been amazing! Yeah, it might be nice to get some help from the other states. I’m doing what I can to turn Oregon red. Sorry I can’t turn it into Texas just by my presence. I would if I could.

        • zane says:

Lamar Smith is but one man. He has made the abomination public. Now it is up to you to call/write your own representative and demand that he joins with Rep. Smith in putting an end to this travesty. And do you think that Rep. Smith doesn’t have the ear of the rest of the Texas Republican delegation? He does.

I find it ironic that the whole nation is now complaining about illegal immigration when we, in the border states, have been dealing with the problems for years. But we were just fly-over county, and it was not until the crime, and the drugs, started flowing into the northern states did the citizens of those states wake up and take a look at what we have dealth with for decades. So don’t complain that you think Lamar Smith is doing too little, when the elected representatives from other states are doing NADA.

And yes, there is something you can do as one person. Go to the True The Vote website and learn how to purge the voter registration rolls of illegal/dead/non-existant voters in your county. True The Vote that purged thousands from the Harris County, Texas voter rolls was started by two women. TWO. And remember this; if the Democrats can’t cheat, they can’t win.

          • stellap says:

Dear Zane, we know Texas is a great state, and we all appreciate it. We know you have been dealing with illegal immigration for years and that you have been dealing with it as well as you can, and that is as it should be. There are problems in other states that don’t affect Texas, and we don’t expect that Texas will come to our aid regarding those problems unless, and until, they affect Texas. For example, in Michigan we have been doing our best to join with other states in our area, and Canada, to protect our water rights – ’cause those great big Great Lakes look mighty tempting to other states and countries. You probably know nothing about that, but so far there is no reason why you would. Believe it or not, there are conservatives in states other than Texas – even in my state of Michigan. We conservatives are doing what we can all over the country.

Sharon has a good point, I think. She’s not picking on Texas – she’s expressing her frustration with our elected representatives in general, and the way in which most of them behave – calling press conferences, making pronouncements, then doing nothing or very little about the problem in question. That is EXACTLY what happens most of the time.

I am sure that Sharon is doing what she can for conservative causes in her state, as you are in yours, and I am in mine. We’ll be happy to help you out in Texas if you need it, and I hope you will do the same for us.

This is OT of this particular subject, but it’s on topic of the lawlessness of this administration.

Here is something else we can all do.

            Go here:

Then send a complaint against Holder.

Hat tip to American Thinker and Mike Vanderboegh and David Codrea.

At one time, Lamar Smith could go to a reporter at the NY Times, the Washington Post or even a reputable news organization like NBC, CBS or ABC, and they would have been all OVER it. No longer. The Media acts as a bulwark and a shield for 0bama and his shills. The Free Press has always had a duty and a responsibility to hold the government accountable, and until the last few years, did just that.

Now, absent raising articles of Impeachment, Congressmen and other public officials must reach out to Fox News or the blogosphere. Instead of the Free Press, you and I are now forced to do their job. We must spread the word by mouth, Facebook, Twitter and blog.

              That’s how far we’ve sunk.

His point is that he’s leaving it to someone else to say “Well, that’s it! It’s finally time to [whatever form of punishment] that son of a bitch!” The question is always: “How far are you/we willing to go to get what we want?” The standard response is “not very.” For the average Joe, that makes sense – he has no real power on an individual level. The sad thing is that the people in positions of power, who could galvanize the individuals, and their answer is “not an inch.”

  2. frenchreader says:

It happens in Europe too. Have a look at this article from the BBC.
    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-18519395
EU should ‘undermine national homogeneity’ says UN migration chief : “The EU should “do its best to undermine” the “homogeneity” of its member states, the UN’s special representative for migration has said.”
Do you think that the European people agree with the nonsense ?

  3. frenchreader says:

Furthermore, you should be somehow happy that these illegal migrants from South-America, more (or less Christians) are an opportunity to counter-balance your muslim LEGAL migrants, so welcome by the american administration.

We have the whole fu*king camel… no, the whole fu*cking caravan under the tent.

Maybe We the People should just stop filing tax returns.

    • Michell says:

I think we need to start demanding an amendment to the constitution, going back to the original income tax taking into account inflation. The amendment also should give them strict guidelines on how and what they can tax us.

      • Sharon says:

As long as the Constitution as it exists now is being ignored, adding another amendment wouldn’t change things much. We have massive regulatory agencies and massive bureaucracies occupied by hundreds of thousands of entrenched Federal employees who are not going to change what they are doing and intend to do for the rest of their lives. And unless we eventually get a Congress seated that is willing to dismantle those bureaucracies and those agencies, it won’t matter who’s in office.

        • Michell says:

We the People are going to have to start demanding it. The government had just been given the power to tax us for doing nothing. Their powers have been greatly increased.

I agree we have to elect people who gives a crap, but sadly time and time again, they say one thing and get to Washington and the air seems to dry up their brain.

Electing the right people is a start, but we have to start holding them accountable and we have to do more than just repeal Obamatax, which sadly I see signs of them waffling on that, because now thanks to SCOTUS their taxing powers have been extended.

I don’t have all the answers, I wish I did. I’m doing the only thing I know to do, writing and calling and donating money, talking to friends and family. I’m willing to have a real Boston Tea Party and withholding my tax dollars, but it would do nothing but hurt myself if I’m the only one.
So we can blame congressmen/women all day long and they deserve it, but ultimately it comes down to WE THE PEOPLE, we’ve allowed this to happen over a long span of time. So until the majority of WE THE PEOPLE fight back and say enough is enough, it’s not gong to change.

Obama is not going to leave the White House ever. He runs all over rules, breaks laws and tramples the Constitution at will. He will if he loses the election attempt a coup to retain power. he cares not a bit about laws so why expect him to obey election results or simply step down because he lost.
Obama is ramming all this down American’s throat.

  6. Michell says:

So rich democrats love illegal immigration, love the poor, love everyone including illegals getting a public education, love taxes until it’s their neighborhood and then they want these people out of their neighborhood. This really gave me a good laugh.

    • ytz4mee says:

This battle in the Hamptons and illegals has been going on for quite some time, the only thing that surprises me is that their hypocrisy is being exposed.

We are in the process of buying a co-op apt in deep blue Manhattan. The “disclosure demands” of the co-op board I am sure violate no end of federal housing laws, but apparently don’t apply to the application to purchase shares in a privately held corporation (which is what a co-op is). Most co-ops in Manhattan are “cash-only” – no financing allowed, and you must pay two years of expected maintenance fees to the co-op escrow board up-front. The building is all-white; even the service staff are Indian, not black or Hispanic (including the doormen). All of these rules are designed to make the application for membership by minorities pretty slim, and the “evaluation” process is a fig-leaf to enforce their desire for financial and racial segregation.

These are the same people that would scream and deny our former HOA in a red county of VA the right to deny anyone the right to buy into the community and have worked to move Section 8 clients from around gentrified areas of DC to the Republican suburbs in the 21st century version of blockbusting.

When I mention this to my liberal colleagues they laugh and openly admit that everything I have pointed out about their “do as I say, not as I do” rules is true.

      Shameless.

  7. LawDog says:

In my state the Republicans are very conservative, but look the other way on illegal immigration because of the meat packing industry being rife with illegals. The get huge campaign contributions to keep ICE from cracking down.

    • churchlady says:

In my small western Iowa town we have two big meat packing plant concerns, as well as a gourmet chicken plant. Since 2001, illegals have been a major presence here, to the point that now the town is 70% Hispanic, with young/unmarried Sudanese men moving in every day. This figure was quoted to my friend by city police who basically said there was nothing she could do because the 25+ people in the house next door use her driveway all day long. One night after a city council meeting that we attended, Chief of Police told me “We know that 90% of those here are illegal. But until the feds do something about it, it’s out of our hands.”

Steve King is my rep in Congress and he has fought tooth & nail for ten years, simply to get English declared the official language of America. Currently he is in the process of filing a lawsuit against the Obama Administration for stopping deportation of those here illegally.

      • Sharon says:

Ten years ago in our little western MN town (less than 1,000 pop) we got over-run with Bosnians, who got off the planes in Fargo and Grand Forks, and had every “help” agency and local church standing there to meet them, handing them around $1500 cash, before they took them to their already-rented-and-paid-for and groceries-stocked brand new apartments. Then they turned them loose on the poor unsuspecting 6-7th generation Scandinavian Lutheran farmers and their wives who were always convinced that it’s good to care more about others than about yourself. It took about two years before the locals figured out that if they didn’t start doing some work on their boundaries, they were going to be stolen blind, their towns wrecked and their schools destroyed.

I don’t know exactly what caused the turn in general–but the turn in general in our little town occurred the night that 3-4 Bosnian women kept pounding at the door of one of our 80-year-old widows, scared her half to death, demanding that they be allowed to live in her house because (their words), “You don’t need such a big house. You can live upstairs and we will live downstairs.” She called me in a panic the next morning, I contacted the city clerk’s office and by high noon, 3-4 men from the volunteer fire department and the mayor’s office went and talked to those Bosnians and ‘splained to them that that kind of crap would not be tolerated. It didn’t happen again in exactly that way. Similar things happened frequently for about 24 months. When people had finally had enough and closed ranks, the ingrate-handout-giveitalltomenow “immigrants” backed down. They WILL back down if the community closes ranks. But it’s impossible for the community to close ranks if 25% of the people in the town/community feel guilty for doing so. (They’re not actually immigrants. I think they’re just imported welfare recipients….the kind I’m talking about….the kind that ran up $1,000 MONTHLY phone bills with calls back to Bosnia, and then went around to the churches, demanding that they pay their phone bill, and threatening the owner of the phone company when he cut off their phone service. Imported welfare recipients. That’s what these kind are.)

They are thugs from societies that kill to survive. Our small towns and rural communities are just sitting ducks.

        • churchlady says:

Wow . . . just unbelievable, Sharon. Song & dance we’ve gotten from city hall, is that these people just want the “American Dream” like we have. “You need to school them in American Ways, such as keeping their lawns mowed/recycling/etc.” is their advice.
We’ve tried to tell them, those things aren’t the problem. Problem is packing these homes with 10-25 people, overburdening the city infrastructure. And running drug operations out of their homes. And each girl 15+ having babies in high school and collecting welfare.

Sudanese don’t seem to be doing drugs, their arrests in the police beat of the paper are almost always for public intox, drunk & disorderly, domestic assault, no license/no insurance. However, our nephew who’s a deputy warned us that they’re starting to see some interaction between factions of Hispanic gangs & some Sudanese. “If these two align on a larger scale, we’re screwed,” he told me. “Right now when we get a drunk & disorderly call on a Sudanese we have to send THREE officers. It takes two to hold these guys down, with assistance from the third.” All of them are at least 6’5″ and very intimidating. That being said, at least they appear to be Christian instead of Muslim. North of us about 75 miles is another packing plant town that has seen an influx of Somalis who are muslim, as well as good old American black blacks being resettled from the Chicago Projects.
