America’s man of the people spoke to the Michigan’s Detroit Economic Club today, and among other things, told the crowd that his wife Ann, “…drives a couple of Cadillacs.” Yeah…he’s smooth, so totally presidential and so utterly inevitable. We get that, but what’s with that line about the trees?

He owns four cars…. Wife has 2 Cadillacs. How magnanimous of him…
This is the second time he has said the trees in Michigan are the right height. ??????
I’ve been wondering about that. The first time he said it I thought it was a mistake. But he said it again, and I think he believes he’s being funny (haha).
Dendrophilia…

Ok, my first comment was before I watched the video. Now that I watched the video I’m kinda laughing…. Did you see how many empty seats were right in front of him? I paused it at :50 and it’s just funny that’s all.
He’s a phoney bologney
I’m still trying to figure out why they picked Ford Field as the venue for this Economic Club event. Ford Field holds 70,000 people. Seems to me that they could have found something more suitable. Cobo is busy with Autorama, and maybe that was all they could get downtown.
ADD: You’re right about the phoniness. There is something wrong about him – and I can’t pin it down. Maybe when I see him tomorrow, for a longer period of time, I’ll be able to figure it out. He seems so uncomfortable in his own skin – he’s trying too hard at being something that he’s not, I think.
He promises to turn Detroit around. Somebody better clue ol’ Mitt into the fact that
“Mo’town” isn’t short for Mormon Town. When you fix Detroit, try your luck with Philadelphia.
Two Cadillacs?
Hell, I can’t get one Chevy Volt to start below 30*F.
