Sharon, THAT would actually require a real media. You know, the kind that you read about in history books, the ones who would actually challenge and engage in such questioning. One might see Roger Mudd asking:
“Who are these Barbarians of which you speak?”
“Didn’t you get elected to NATIONAL office to represent ‘all’ the people, not just those who agree with you”?
“Do you think it expands the influence of the ‘Office of the President’ to engage in such rhetoric”?
“Are you not just diminishing yourself and your office”?
