We have discussed extensively the difference between Progressive/Liberal ideology and Conservative ideology. But I think perhaps it is time to reinforce something very important. LIBERALS DO NOT CARE HOW THEY ARE PERCEIVED. Every end justifies their means. Period. One only has to look at recent events to find examples of their ridiculous behavior, and our inherently flawed approach that “it makes them look silly, childish, foolish, et al”. They just don’t care.
The media will excuse every hateful, violent, childish, immature behavior on their part and the progressives know it. You see, conservatives worry about the perception of others, it is our achiles heel. Progressives liberals do not care about perception. It is all about reaching a goal, a communal goal of utopia. Think about how Obamacare was passed, the progressives totally ignored any populus opinion and rammed through the most extensive progressive legislation in the history of modern politics. The do not care how they are perceived, or what the majority thinks of their techniques and approaches. But conservatives continually ‘cave’ to the pressure of ‘concern’. This is what makes conservatives weak. It is happening everywhere right now. Conservative majorities have been put into place in state houses across the country and the response from the progressives is to rise up, leave, walk out, no-matter what it looks like.
Eventually, the progressives know if they hold out long enough they will win. It works every time. The media will focus on the support the progressives have and make it look like they are on the right side of any issue. Eventually the conservative leader mistakenly falls prey to his/her own concern about perception and immediately the Progressive wins. That is how they roll. This is why it is so important to reach out to conservatives and reinforce to them, whoever they are, that we support their stance and position. If we do not, the creeping worry of perception and subsequent guilt leads to compromises in principled positions. There are some issues that reach beyond the framework of concession and compromise and strike at the very core of conservative belief. Those issues must not EVER be allowed to fall prey to public, or media pressures.
Here is the beginning of a thread of contact information for people who would benefit from hearing words of encouragement from us. That way we TreeHouser’s can e-mail, fax, call, or otherwise show support. Reaffirm the positives. Reaffirm our core beliefs when these people stand firm in the face of progressive opposition. These are some of the people who really could use a boost of appreciation from us. That way we can reinforce them so they just don’t hear/see all the opposition and allow their inherent conservative ‘fears’ to lead them to a position of compromise.
Please add to this list in the comments section and we will update frequently. We will also post this as a permanent link on the TreeHouse for reference. Please add your suggestions so we may be able to grow this list and support True Principled Conservatives. Thanks.

I just want to say, that this was a collaboration between Sundance and me. I compiled the list, but most of the narrative is his (not that I don’t support his words, I just want him to get the credit he deserves).
I guess I spent too much time around Louisiana’s only 4-Term Governor, Edwin Edwards, because I could not care less what anyone thinks of me.
Seriously, I try to live my life with Honor and Integrity, and if the Progs or anyone else does not like it, that is not my problem. That is one thing that Conservatives should learn from the Dems.
Thoughts on adding Lila Rose to the list? Her group’s work on exposing Planned Parenthood’s illegal practices has had a huge effect on the discussion of taxpayer funding for abortion.
Oooh yeah, that’s a good one. Need to find her contact info.
the real war is in america we need to tighten up and start doing something other than sitting on our hands becuase this problem will not go away. I swor an oath to protect my country and its about that time America. we will see were obama and the rest of the democrat on march 4th {if there is any truth to it} apperantly the muslims are to assemble and demand sharia law and declare jihad on america and all the other “infedels” I want to see if obama supports this to. either way we will his true colors this week end, its time to tighten up our ranks as free americans and start taking legal and political action. lets also see what the so called unions do. i don’t understand why these people are so willing to pay a small party so much money for the right to work . and yet they are the educated ones
First time I peeked at this list. I think that Steve King of Iowa would also be a great addition, he is not in the limelight very much but gets alot done rather quietly. here is his web site so that you can check him out.

Senator Jim DeMint seems to be the real deal too. It is lonely being conservative. Sometimes I don’t say much because it threatens the progressives and one ends up with few friends. I believe that deep inside, they know they are wrong.
Two more suggestions for your conservative list: New Jersey Governor Chris Christie who will not be deterred from his conservative views and is not afraid to follow through in words or actions; and Senator (Dr.) Tom Coburn, (R-OK) one of the “Gang of Six” deficit reduction talk committee members who stood his ground and had the intelligence and guts to walk out on this group’s discussions when it was obvious that liberal members were not going to compromise or “see the light” on this cirical issue.
Gov. Chris Christie is only partial conservative. I think he is somewhere between RINO and Tea Party. He sees some of the evil of the left, but he just doesn’t get a lot of it. So while he may be on our team on some issues, he is clueless on others. If anyone out there can get through to him that would be great – or if someone could put together an article itemizing the issues where he is conservative it would be a great help.
I think I need to review the contact list! Thanks to all for suggestions.
Please save Ann Coulter from Mulches animals that attack her in the media!!
Why does Ann Coulter attack John McCain? Does she live on Long Island? Or feels that it’s in her duty to protect anything near New York? Can someone teach that woman that he is a 5yr. P.O.W. Veteran? Why is it; so many people are insensitive to this. She also needs an E-mail address that responds back not threw computer automation. She also needs a therapist! That will help her with change. I understand her outrage, but sounding like an out of control person doesn’t help any of us.
How come the media doesn’t hire assistance for their E-mail? So that all the mail gets answered. Please; I need a Job! I would rather watch Bill O’Reilly at 7pm. Central time. In Avondale Az. 85392, Where I need more than just a Miracle.
